Sorrento and Amalfi Coast

Within a 60-minute drive from Pacha Mama are the wonderful towns of the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast. These are not only beautiful seaside towns, but also centres where history, tradition, culture, architecture and folklore are closely intertwined.

Sorrento, the famous Land of the Sirens, is a place full of myths, legends, culture, events, good cuisine, craftmanship and unforgettable landscapes. Places to visit include the historic centre with its narrow streets full of craft shops where you can taste the famous local liqueur Limoncello, and the Cloisters of San Francesco d'Assisi, the venue for civil weddings, exhibitions and musical events. Moreover there are the Romanesque cathedral, the Villa Comunale from which you can admire the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius in the background, and the village of Marina Grande.

Amalfi, the most ancient Italy's maritime republic, is the symbol of the entire Amalfi Coast and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its wonders. A must-see is the majestic Duomo of Sant'Andrea, overlooking a steep slope that connects it to the main square.

Positano, famous all over the world, is a town set in the rock overlooking the sea. Due to its extraordinary panoramic position and mild climate, together with its picturesque architecture and lush surrounding countryside, Positano has become one of the most popular locations on the Amalfi Coast.

Ravello, the city of the music, boasts natural beauty, a beautiful landscape, precious architectural monuments, villas and gardens. Worth visiting are the famous Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, which offer splendid views of the sea.
